These things are brilliant! They also make a great inexpensive gift for your favourite camper They are positioned as reuseable zip-ties which is a perfect description. I keep them attached to the thwarts and yoke of my canoe and use them primarily to lash in my paddles and PFD when portaging but they have myriad other uses. Back when importing stuff from our friends to the south wasn't such an issue, I got mine directly from the source – Old Scout Outdoor Products and ordered numerous sets which I used as gifts after keeping my favourite colours for myself. That said, you can find them in Canada from time to time; last seen at London's Paddle Shop.
