Trangia Announces New Ceramic Coated Cookware

Trangia has launched a new frypan with a ceramic coating to offer an alternative to traditional non-stick surfaces. Currently they offer an Ultralight, Hardanodized and Duossal 2.0 style plates while the ceramic offers excellent cooking performance, high durability and a smooth surface that helps reduce food sticking and makes cleaning easy.

The first product with our new Ceramic Coating is the Frypan 25 CC, available as a spare part.

Trangia Ceramic Coating is based on an advanced, patent-pending formula developed in Sweden. Using a new process developed by Trangia, the coating is applied at our factory in Trångsviken, Sweden. The frypan is made from Ultralight Aluminium (UL), with the ceramic coating on the inside and UL on the outside.

The coating is clear and transparent, with no added colorants. It contains no intentionally added PFAS or silicone oil. Unlike coatings that rely on silicone oils, Trangia Ceramic Coating maintains its non-stick performance over time without gradually losing its properties.

More products with Trangia Ceramic Coating will be introduced during 2026–2027 starting with pots and pans for the Trangia Stove 25 and 27
