Three Friends Are Headed Across Canada By Canoe

On April 1st, 2026 three friends are headed for a 8,000KM canoe trip clear across Canada to raise money for charity. Will Vyse (Founder of Canada by Canoe), Georges Kirijian and Nolan Aziz are Canada by Canoe are tackling this feat to donate to True North Aid who provides support to remote indigenous communities.
They plan on completing the journey in roughly 200 days with little to no rest days. The route begins at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean in Tadoussac, Québec, the point where the St. Lawrence River reaches full salinity. From Tadoussac, the group will drag through muskeg, portage over sand dunes, paddle through high winds, and much more before reaching the final goal in Port Edward, British Columbia (near Prince Rupert).
You might recognize some of the teams members from their previous fundraiser Canoe4Covid where they raised more than $87,000 for Food Banks Canada. This year, help them reach their goal of $1,000,000 as they “push the boundaries of what is possible using human-powered travel while supporting northern communities in need.”.
