Kejimkujik Backcountry Closed Due To Fire Risk

Parks Canada has closed backcountry camping at Kejimkujik National Park as of 12 p.m. today due to potential fire risk and instituted a full fire ban (This includes campfires, charcoal barbecues, stoves in cabins and picnic shelters, and any open flame (e.g. candles)). Backcountry reservations up to and including Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 will automatically be cancelled and fully refunded. No action is required by reservation holders.
