Manitoba Parks Re-Opening Parks Starting May 4th, 2020

Manitoba Parks Re-Opening Parks Starting May 4th, 2020

Following the Province of Manitoba’s decision to reopen some of the non-essential businesses on May 4th, Manitoba Parks will be allowing campground reservations. There will still be restrictions such as…

  • Banning all gatherings of 10 or more people

  • Campers will have to wear waters hoes or sandals in the showers

  • Campers will have to bring their own toilet paper, soap and hand sanitizer

  • If you live south of the 53rd parallel, you will still not be able to travel North to visit parks

Manitoba Parks will increase cleaning and sanitation of the bathrooms and showers.

We’re still following the health advice that it will be households who camp together. We’re not looking at having neighbouring campsites getting together for bonfires.
— Sarah Guillemard - Conservation and Climate Minister
