SPOT has announced a brand new SPOT X two-way satellite messenger. The original SPOT X was announced in May of 2018, but this newer model brings new features. You can now connect the SPOT via bluetooth to your phone to send and receive satellite messages via the SPOT X app.

The vast majority of our current customers are already taking their cell phones into the backcountry. Adding Bluetooth capability to SPOT X allows users to seamlessly connect their smartphone and use an intuitive interface to send and receive messages via the Globalstar Satellite Network
