Dehydrating: Cherries

Cherries contain powerful antioxidants, help reduce inflammation, and are a tasty treat to add while baking on your next camping trip.

To prepare them, cut them in half lengthways and remove the pit, or purchase a cherry pitter to speed up the process.

Since the skin can be quite tough and reduces airflow, pierce it a few times with a knife or toothpick.

Lay them on the tray skin side down and dry at 55°C (130°F) for 12 to 24 hours
