I did a double take when I first saw this... a new restaurant opening in Toronto at Queen & Bay called Bannock. All I could picture is a grill (or maybe a camp stove) serving up warm bannock with a menu of different variations such as cinnamon, raisins, nuts or berries. Much to my surprise though, this Oliver & Bonacini restaurant WILL be serving up warm Bannock! I guess the chuckle is on me. Bannock is set to open at the end of the month and I look forward to trying it out.
