If you have ever watched the TV show The Amazing Race, you will know that the host Phil Keoghan is a man of few words. Other than describing the next leg of the race or sometimes breaking his stern gaze with a smile to congratulate the winner of the episode, he seems to be a pretty reserved man.

Much to my delight, Phil opened up and showed his personal side and passion for bicycling in the movie The Ride. The movie documents Phil's attempt at cycling a 3500 mile, cross country effort to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The movie was very enjoyable right from the comedic start-line of the journey, to stories of Phil's younger days with his Peugeot 10 speed, to touching stories of the relationship with his father (who accompanied him on his journey). I quite enjoyed this touching movie with numerous scenes of beautiful American countryside.

Rent it for $4.99 or buy it for $9.99 on iTunes.
