B.C. Parks Updates Day-use Pass Reservation Service

B.C. Parks Updates Day-use Pass Reservation Service

With people continuously trying to take advantage of booking systems, B.C. Parks has updated their own to ensure that day-use passes are distributed more fairly.

Starting September 22, people will need to create a verified account before booking a day-use pass. This updated system helps ensure passes are reserved by real people and distributed more fairly during periods of high demand. Accounts also make it easier for people to view, manage, and cancel their reservations.

After creating an account, people will receive an email to verify their identity. A reservation cannot be made until the associated email is verified.

The changes and additional security measures are being implemented to help reduce interference from digital bots and other misuse.
