Freezing Woman 2026

Freezing Woman runs Thursday to Sunday every November in Algonquin Park. Hundreds of women come for keynote speakers, hands-on workshops (24 listed as of now), campfire activities, book signings with legendary outdoor authors, a maker's market, and a gear market with some of the best Canadian outdoor gear.

Jennifer Kingsley (a journalist, storyteller, and National Geographic Explorer who has been traveling the Arctic for more than twenty years) and Natalia Rybczynski (a paleobiologist and Research Associate with the Canadian Museum of Nature, and an Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University) are the keynote speakers.
