The Happy Camper heads out to explore some lesser know areas of eastern Algonquin Park in and around Petawawa, Ontario, He spends 4 days there: a three night camp out at Algonquin's Sec Lake, a day paddle down the Lower Barron River from Squirrel Rapids to Black Bay, a day paddle to Petawawa Point Beach's Ottawa River Islands...and with a few visits along the way to chat with local outfitters, ice cream shops, local brewers, a local favourite restaurant amongst some amazing natural landscapes.
