Ostrom Outdoors Announces They Are Closing

Sadly after 39 years in the business Anne and Bill Ostrom have announced that they are closing up shop…

“We’ve loved serving customers like you from coast to coast. It’s been so fun meeting you at trade shows and even out on trip sometimes.

We value that immensely and love hearing about your amazing stories. And, at times, we’ve lived vicariously through you all.

But the economic climate has created a lot of pressure…And we’re at the stage of life where it’s time to spend more time with each other and on the water.

So we’ve decided to close and sell off the remaining stock.

Honestly, you’ve made it all worthwhile. And, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for that.”

Kudos to the two of them for providing so many designs and wonderful canoe packs over the years. I’m sure there will be fantastic deals on packs as they sell off inventory. The business itself is also for sale, so there’s always the chance it could live on.
