Nova Craft Purchases Recreational Barrel Works

Big news today as Nova Craft announces that they have purchased Recreational Barrel Works.
“Recreational Barrel Works is pleased to announce transitioning to a new owner. After 25 years of bringing great gear to paddlers, Marion and Andy Baxter have passed the RBW painter ropes to Chris Rath. Chris is a seasoned leader in the paddle sport industry and is eager to continue providing gear designed by paddlers for paddlers. Sara Mills has taken over managing the day-to-day operations and is looking forward to growing RBW even further.
Marion and Andy look will have more time for their own paddling adventures. Andy is happily staying connected to RBW at the product design table and helping at trade shows.
RBW has grown from its humble beginnings of simply supplying new barrels to now having a catalog of over 80 products, with even more new products on the way. Andy and Marion are particularly pleased to have fellow paddlers Chris and Sara piloting RBW to continued success and will be supporting them all the way.”
Congratulations to Chris and Sara for continuing on this Canadian brand! Now operating in London, Ontario under the same roof and leadership as Nova Craft Canoe, RBW’s core mission remains unchanged: providing reliable, accessible gear designed by paddlers for paddlers.
