Just me, Charley and a canoe, heading deep into the remote wilderness of Northern Ontario, Canada. I’ve been canoeing most of my life, but I’d never taken on a solo trip quite like this. This is the full film of our adventure, paddling across beautiful lakes, camping on secluded islands and portaging the canoe and all our gear through the woods to reach secluded untouched lakes. There’s no cell phone service and no quick way out. This is rugged country, shared with bears and wolves. When you’re this far from help, changing weather, rough water and the decisions you make really matter. It was exhausting at times, but being out there with Charley, surrounded by wilderness, is something I’ll never forget. I’m excited for you to see the whole journey. I shot and edited this entire film myself and also composed and produced the music.
