Hults Bruk Looking To Strengthen Its Canadian Market

One of the world’s oldest axe makers, Hults Bruk is looking to strengthen its presence in the Canadian outdoor, bushcraft and hunting market this fall.

“What we are doing now is giving Hults Bruk a clearer identity and the opportunity to develop as an international brand in its own right. Canada is an important market for us, and with a dedicated range, direct distribution and a strong sales organization, we now have the structure to build the brand for the long term.”
— Anders Haglund, director of Business Unit Hults Bruk at Hultafors AB

In Canada, Hultafors Group North America will import Hults Bruk axes directly from Sweden and stock them at its warehouse in Leduc, Alberta. “Our facility and team in Alberta will enable us to quickly process, fulfill and ship orders across Canada,” said Ben Palliser, national sales manager for Hults Bruk North America.

“We believe Hults Bruk has a strong opportunity in the Canadian market. Canadians have a deep connection to the outdoors, and there is a growing appreciation for products that combine genuine heritage, quality materials and long-term durability. Hults Bruk’s Swedish axe-making tradition and focus on purpose-built tools align naturally with Canadian consumers who hunt, camp, work and spend time outdoors. We’re excited to introduce the brand to more Canadian retailers and consumers and to build a strong, sustainable presence for Hults Bruk across the country.”

The new Hults Bruk range is arriving at Canadian retailers this month. Check them out at places such as Axeman Outdoor Supply, Blades Canada, Classic Outdoors, Joe’s Sports and Victory Paint & Mercantile.
