Hotcore Releases New Ultralight Down Quilts

Hotcore (100% Canadian own and operated) has released a new line of ultralight quilts known as the HERO. Available now, the HERO 2 (Comfort: +2°C (35°F) - Limit: -4°C (24°F)) and the HERO 3 (Comfort: -6°C (21°F) - Limit: -12°C (10°F)) are aimed at thru-hikers, backpackers, and gram counters.

The quilts are filled with 800 Fill Power Goose Down and include elastic straps to secure your HERO to a suitable sleeping pad. There is also a drawcord closure at neck (including an insulated neck collar) and foot for warmth.

These quilts are temperature versatile, able to be used as an open blanket…or closed at the foot for a warm cocoon shape. And no traditional zipper means you can roll and tuck and find the perfect sleeping position.

The HERO 2 weighs 703 g (1.55 lbs) and retails for $365.99 CAD. The HERO 3 weighs 798 g (1.76 lbs) and retails for $399.99 CAD.
