Kevin Callan: Camping On Mysterious Mair Lake

Kevin Callan travelled to North Frontenac Parklands for a recent canoe trip.

This time he headed to North Frontenac Parklands Mair Lake - a crystal clear green-blue coloured lake set in the midst of Ontario's Madawaska Highlands. This is one of 11 lakes managed by the Parklands - and the most scenic. He also reviews some new gear, including LuminAids new Trio solar light system. A set of 3 modular lanterns that share one solar docking station. When combined, the 3 units can be used as a single lantern with a hanging clip and magnet for illumination wherever you need it. Each LED unit has its own battery, and the rectangular light has a 2000 mAh battery that can charge your phone or other electronic devices.
