Green Canoe Outfitters (which opened in 2013) sadly is closing…
“Hi everyone, I am sure by now many of you have seen the for sale sign in the store window or have been in to chat. It is with many emotions that we are closing our store here in downtown Cobourg. Saturday, September 10 will be the last day the store is open. It has been 9 years of success and learning and we have many of you to thank for that. Thank you to our family and friends that have supported us and the business since day one in 2013 when we started renovations on the building. Thank you to the staff we have had over the many years and a particular thank you to Caleb, who has stuck it out with us over the last more challenging years.
Educating about quality gear and helping people seek adventure has been the goal of the store and it is time now to turn our attention to our own new adventures. Not to worry though, the expertise, experience, and knowledge that we have offered through our retail store will continue with a more experience based spin! Stay tuned to hear about all our ideas! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.”
