Why Not Print Your Own Camping Chair Feet?!

Why Not Print Your Own Camping Chair Feet?!

A common problem with the narrow, hard feet of a camp chair, is as soon as you apply weight to them, they sink into the ground.

While many just cut a slit into a tennis ball and pop it on the bottom, Mason Evans came up with his own ingenious solution by creating his own feet and printing them on a 3D printer!

After designing the STL file himself he printed it in TPU 94 and so far they have done the trick!

We have the MEC ultralight chairs and find they kept sinking unless we were sitting on rock. I printed out these feet for them and found even in sand it kept us right where we wanted to be. Just an idea of anyone is having the same problem we were.

Mason wasn’t ready to share the file itself, if you have the creative skills, hopefully this inspires you to try something like this, and be sure to let us know how it works out!
