MEC Kitchener Opening May 13th
Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) is opening their seventh Ontario store in Kitchener, Ontario on May 13th and hosting their grand opening event on May 27th, 2017.
Rental gear will be available soon at the 18,000-square-foot building, once the store is up and running smoothly. Expect to have camping gear and paddling stuff available later in 2017. MEC members will also have access to a full-service bike repair and ski-tech shop as well as an equipment rental program for boats, skis and camping gear. A community meeting room will be available for use by local outdoor clubs and environmental organizations.
