What You Need to Know When Trip Planning For B.C.'s Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit

The Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit is a 116 km chain of lakes, waterways and connecting portages in British Columbia. This wilderness canoe trip can take from 6 to 10 days to complete and opened for reservations back in January. BC Parks has filmed a video to share some of the splendour of this park and what you need to know before setting out.
Bowron Lake Provincial Park, located 120 Kms East of Quesnel, is a magnificent wilderness of 149,207 hectares. The park is famous for its unique Canoe Circuit of ten lakes that takes from six to ten days to complete. The circuit totals 116 kms, including the lakes, sections of the Isaac, Cariboo and Bowron Rivers and several portages.
