Edmonton is Offering Canoeing Courses and Celebrating River Day 2014

The City of Edmonton is offering beginners courses on Canoeing. These courses will focus on fun and safety as you learn about equipment selection, safe entry and exit from the canoe and basic strokes including power, reverse, draw, pry, sweeps and J stroke (All equipment provided). There are also Family Canoe courses that run on June 15th and July 20th, as well as a Canoeing for 50+ course on June 7th. The courses are held at Rundle Park, and visit the City of Edmonton's website for more information and to register.
