Joffre Lakes Backcountry Closed For First Nations Harvest Celebration

Líl̓wat Nation and N’Quatqua First Nation are closing Joffre Lakes Park in B.C. to harvest and gather resources within their territories. Líl̓wat Nation and N’Quatqua First Nation are jointly shutting down the public access to Pipi7iyekw – Joffre Lakes Park until National Truth and Reconciliation Day on September 30th, 2023.
