You Now Need A Backcountry Reservation For Camping At Garibaldi Provincial Park

If you want to camp at BC Parks' three most popular campgrounds, you now need a Backcountry Reservation. Reservations are required for: Garibaldi Lake, Taylor Meadows, and Elfin Lakes Campgrounds during peak season (June 29th - September 30th, 2016). All other camping areas and during non-peak season require a backcountry camping permit and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also now reserve your overnight camping stays for up to 3 months in advance of your arrival date.

All reservations and backcountry camping permits must be purchased in advance (Online or by calling 1-800-689-9025 with a credit card) before 1 p.m. the day of arrival. Self-registration stations will no longer be active at the trailheads.

Stay connected with BC Parks by following them on Facebook and Instagram and reading their blog.
