The Leatherman Tread, 25 Tools You Can Wear on Your Wrist
This week Leatherman announced The Leatherman Tread, a set of multi-tools that you can wear on your wrist. Each link is made from high strength, corrosion resistant 17-4 stainless steel that also function as two to three functional tools. This allows you to customize it with different links that suit your needs, re-arrange them in any order or adjust for wrist sizes to 1/4". Even the clasp is a bottle opener and #2 square drive. Other link tools include a cutting hook, hex drives, screwdrivers, box wrenches, and a carbide glass breaker. The Tread will come in Black DLC or Stainless Steel and will be available late Spring 2015.
A version of the Tread coming this Fall is the Leatherman Tread QM1 which will feature a unique Leatherman-designed and Swiss-made timepiece with precision quartz movement. A shock resistant sapphire crystal ensures scratch resistance for heavy duty wear, and the curved watch limits reflection and increases outdoor visibility.
