Police Investigating Alleged Theft Of Antique Canoe In Ontario

Police are investigating an alleged theft of an antique canoe from a Kawartha Lakes, Ontario home. Police alleged that a thief broke the padlock on a shop located on a residential property sometime between the evening of August 28th and 6 a.m. the following day. A 4.6m red cedar canoe, four seat and various other canoeing equipment was taken. No value was given but the canoe was described as ‘antique’. Police are looking for any details or hoping the thief will come forward.

Banner image isn’t of the canoe stolen, but a similar (and beautiful) Chestnut Bob Special posted over at the Canoeguy’s blog.
