Trail Mix: Give Something Away

I don’t know if you’ve ever opened a bottle of Jones Soda, but underneath the bottle cap is a random fortune. While we quenched our thirst with a tasty ‘Orange & Cream’, our latest bottle told us to “Give something away”.

We took the fortune to heart, dug deep into our camping gear collection… and pulled out two Woods sleeping bags that we haven’t used in a few years. Now who to give them too?

These are the very sleeping bags I’ve used as a child so I wanted them to go somewhere where they would be well enjoyed. After scratching our heads for a bit… we gave them to our local Scout troop. It’s great to see them find a new home and now another generation will get to enjoy stargazing in downy comfort.
