Mustang Survival Announces Drysuit And New Products For 2019
With a mission to deliver confidence to those who work, play, or protect on or in the water, one of our biggest advantages is the Mustang Survival Waterlife Studio in British Columbia, Canada. Having the ability to control every aspect of the process – from concept to manufacturing – our team can really challenge the status quo,” states. A great example of this is our Marine-Spec family of fabrics. After extensive and thorough testing of existing fabrics, the team decided that in order to meet our exacting standards, we would need to make our own material. In the 2019 collection you’ll see this material being used throughout our products – products that deliver the confidence needed to perform at your best, or simply enjoy your time on the water.

After 30 years of keeping the professional user dry, Mustang Survival is now leveraging their knowledge and experience to launch their first truly recreation-focused drysuit, the Hudson Drysuit (MSRP $999). Designed for in-water use across a variety of activities and constructed of Marine-Spec BP fabric, the Hudson drysuit provides performance without sacrificing comfort thanks to its few, and strategically placed, seams.

Focused on the professional user needing technical apparel to work hard, move and keep them dry and protected, the Callan Collection including the Jacket (MSRP $299), Salopette (MSRP $350) and Shorts (MSRP $150) from Mustang Survival is perfect for dynamic movements in changing conditions.

For times when the conditions are less than perfect, Mustang Survival’s integrated layering system now includes the Torrens™ Jacket (MSRP $199). Sure to be a user’s new ‘go-to’ jacket, it uses body-mapped Polartec Alpha insulation to keep wearers warm, even when wet, making it a great mid layer choice as it fits under the Mustang Survival waterproof outerwear for ultimate protection.

Marine-Spec fabrics are engineered for the marine environment and have been through extensive field and laboratory testing. The three fabrics include the following:

Marine-Spec™ BP. Providing, the most durable waterproof and windproof protection in the Marine-Spec family of materials, the Marine-Spec BP is comprised of four layers. Its highly durable face fabrics with abrasion-, salt water-, and UV-resistance features form the outer layer.
