HeliumTrim announced their brand new HeliumTrim Kit which can be purchased to be installed on any canoe. Thanks to a patent pending design, they have managed to trap actual helium within the ash, or cherry trim kits which you can install yourself, or have installed at your friendly local canoe dealer.

The entire kit of endcaps, gunwales, thwart and yoke is guaranteed by HeliumTrim to take 4.5kg/10 pounds off the weight of your canoe! Installation is not for the faint of heart however as not weighing down the individual pieces of the gunwale (or more importantly the yoke), will cause them to literally float away.
