B.C. Parks' Berg Lake Trail & Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit Open For 2016 Reservations

B.C. Parks' has opened reservations for the entire season for Berg Lake Trail at Mount Robson Provincial Park and Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit at Bowron Lake Provincial Park. According to B.C. Parks, the Berg Lake trail saw a record number of reservations in 2015 with 2,295 and The Bowron Lakes canoe circuit saw an increase too with 1,030 bookings.

"The Berg Lake trail and the Bowron Lake canoe circuit provide unique adventures drawing hundreds of visitors each year,” said Environment Minister Mary Polak. “With limited facilities available for a true wilderness experience, explorers need to come prepared. By opening reservations in the new year for the entire season, we are helping British Columbians and families from around the world plan their vacation so they can make the most of what our provincial parks have to offer."

The Berg Lake Trail has 23 kilometres of backcountry hiking trails, while the Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit is a 116 km chain of lakes, waterways and connecting portages. This wilderness canoe trip can take from 6 to 10 days to complete. Download the Pre-Trip Information Booklet to learn more.
