Fire Restrictions Lifted In Algonquin Park

With such a dry Summer, Algonquin Park and surrounding area have been under heavy fire restrictions​. At one point the East Gate was even closed due to a fire. As of 12:01 a.m., Thursday, August 9, 2012, the restricted fire zone has ended. Campers are reminded to never leave their campfires unattended.
