Not only is the grueling 125k ultra marathon named the Canadian Death Race, but now there are very fitting statues that the top three male and female solo winners will take home.

These statues were designed in collaboration with local Montreal artist, Sophie-Kimberly Séguin-Lalonde, and Montreal Glass Art Gallery and School, Espaces Verre.

“The North Face Canadian Death Race is an epic race that challenges its competitors both mentally and physically,” said Corey Stecker, Director of Marketing for The North Face Canada.  “Every major Ultra Marathon presents their winners with a unique trophy to commemorate this victory; we wanted to create a similar badge of honour for the winners of the Canadian Death Race.”
