Shortly After Bankruptcy, The Esquif Canoe Company Resumes Production

It was only a few short weeks ago that Esquif had announced that they were closing after 15 years in the business. Today they have announced that their factory in Frampton, Quebec will resume production! The good news is that the creditors have agreed to a buyback proposal of the assets from the president and founder of Esquif, Mr. Jacques Chassé

"We are now able to produce the highly-technical material required to manufacture our boats," announces president and founder of Esquif Canoes, Jacques Chassé.

Esquif announced back in 2014 that they had a replacement for Royalex called T-Formex (ABS plastic with a foam core) and they still plan to have it ready for Fall of this year.

"Our company is based on innovation and passion, it is these two strengths that have kept us going" happily states Mr. Chassé.
